Godalming is located 5 miles south of Guildford and is bustling with life thanks to the students from the University of Surrey and the young professionals that favour it. The town is surrounded by stunning woodland and has a town centre full of independent shops and cafes, bars and restaurants. It even has its own museum – aptly named Godalming Museum – and several enthusiastic theatre groups including the lively Godalming Theatre Group.

If you want to travel further, Godalming is 30 miles from both Heathrow and Gatwick airports – with easy access to the A3 (taking you onto the M25 and to the rest of Britain’s motorways).
