The team at Cavenders are exceptional. There is no other estate agent in the area that has such a lovely team that clearly work very well together. It shows when you are using their services that it is collaborative and you are all trying to achieve the best possible outcome for their clients.
I rented out a property through Cavendars after being let down by a big corporate Estate Agent in Guildford for MONTHS without any legitimate offers. However, Cavenders had the property rented within a WEEK of it being agreed to rent through them. They had clearly thought about who the property would be suitable for, which is a major issue I had with the other estate agent. Any issues with the maintenance, the team (in particular Sarah) were quick and communicated well as to what needed to be done. Josiah was also very helpful at the end of the tenancy and dealing with my many, MANY queries - thank you for being patient with me!
When it came to selling the property, we had some difficulty with a buyer and there was a strong possibility that we were not going to complete. Aaron and the team were so proactive that within a FEW days of this issue arising, they had taken another potential buyer to the house and I had another offer on the table. I think it is important to note here that I hadn't asked for another viewing but Aaron saw a potential problem and solved it without me having to worry about it. To me, this is the best customer service and experience someone could have with any company.
I highly recommend to anyone who is looking to buy, sell or rent (both landlords and tenants) in the area to please visit the team at Cavenders. They are better than any estate agent I have dealt with before and I know that should I need an estate agent again, I am calling Cavenders first. So far so good. It's really good to find a local agent that cares, with a decent back office that are efficient and understand the local market (rather than one that had their back office 30 miles away and brought plumbers in from central london to fix a tap!).
After our last experience with some of the other letting agents in Guildford I think we've found a gem!, thank you Laura-Jay and team for looking after us.
Update - a couple of months in, and a minor electrical issue has been sorted very quickly and effeciently by Sarah and team, at a reasonable price. Such a big difference to dealing with the bigger "posher" Guildford high street names.

I rented through Cavender for the past 2 years and I was very pleased with the service they provided.
